After Migration no connection on outlook via port 25 - 06:47am Nov 23, 2021 CDT - The log shows nothing, as actually there is no problem on the mail server. It's Sophos XG transparent firewall does SMTP scans and stops port 25 allowing only secure connections Sorry lads to bother you but it was good practice setting up Mdaemon between different types of firewalls

After Migration no connection on outlook via port 25 - 08:09am Nov 15, 2021 CDT - Looks like it settled down and its only new outlook app is not able to connect via port 25. Thich is weird anyway.

After Migration no connection on outlook via port 25 - 05:58pm Nov 8, 2021 CDT - Hello Jay, first of all, thank you for the reply and advice!
I have checked SMTP in log and it has loads of entries as you have provided:--> 250-AUTH LOGIN CRAM-MD5 PLAIN
next: "Do not allow authentication on the SMTP port": is not checked.
next: location screening is enabled but "SMTP connections are accepted but authentication is blocked": is not checked...

After Migration no connection on outlook via port 25 - 06:47am Nov 23, 2021 CDT - The error I'm getting is then outgoing mail goes via 143 and 25 no SSL "Send test email message: None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server." This happened after migration to a new server. No settings are changed, firewall opened whats war requested, router firewall nothing changed as the same IP. HELP where to start looking for problems?..

migrate mail server from corrupt VHDX - 08:27pm Nov 5, 2021 CDT - Actually, it worked, after moving there was no service that I had to install, the next new server firewall allow required apps, then confirm license details and upgrade. Edge firewall, nothing to change as the same local IP was maintained for the new server. Juts one small issue setting outlook outgoing mail server on port 25 no ssl doesn't work only with port 465 works?
