Please add more info to X-MDAV-Infected header - 06:37am Jul 27, 2019 CDT - Jared,

The name of the virus found would be fine. This allows me to see if any particular signature is causing a false positive and maybe add it to the Clam AV IGNORE file.

Please add more info to X-MDAV-Infected header - 04:42pm Jul 31, 2019 CDT - Hi,

Merging ClamAV and Cyren seems to be a sensible move but I've lost the ability to use the Content Filter to distinguish between the various things that ClamAV can detect, especially as I use 3rd party signatures.

Here's an example:
The email contains:-
X-MDAV-Infected: pd1530027480.att
X-MDBadQueue-Reason: WARNING! infected with virus (pd31876688.txt)

While the clamd.log contains,-
C:/MDaemon/CFilter/TEMP/965010511/pd1530027480.att: Heuristics.OLE2.ContainsMacros(65a892876fa1a66bb6232eebeaaf92ba:379904) FOUND

pd31876688.txt doesn't give me any information...

ClamAV reload timing out after 1 minute - 10:44am Jul 19, 2019 CDT - Sorry for the late response but I've just seen that the problem I was having has been solved in 19.0.3

[21904] fix to Antivirus - sometimes AV engine does not wait long enough for ClamD to finish loading so it will repeatedly shut down ClamD and restart it

Thank you and your team for sorting this out.

Chris

ClamAV reload timing out after 1 minute - 10:44am Jul 19, 2019 CDT - I like to use some additional 3rd party ClamAV signatures and after a signature update, watching the CLAMAV process in Task Manager, I often see the memory usage climb but before it can load everything the memory usage drops to zero and the reloading starts again. It seems that if it can't finish reloading after 1 minute it restarts the process multiple times. Pausing the SMTP server or deleting some signatures is sometimes the only way to get it to finish reloading...

Content Filter REGEX now case sensitive in 18.0.2 - 02:19pm Aug 10, 2018 CDT - You're right. The testing tool is case sensitive but the actual content filtering isn't.
I'm pretty sure that in previous versions of MDaemon the testing tool was also case insensitive...
