ActiveSync & Public Calendars in multiple domains - 02:32pm Sep 14, 2017 CDT -

Have the users been given access to the mydomain.com level public folder?

It looks like they will need to be given access to the mydomain.com folder as well as to the Calendar under mydomain.com.

No, I triple checked that in the global settings and in the domain.

It is only a handful of users having the issue...

ActiveSync & Public Calendars in multiple domains - 02:48pm Sep 13, 2017 CDT -

If you enable the option in ActiveSync folder to “allow public folder traversal” does it start working?  This setting can be found by going to Setup / Mobile Device Management / ActiveSync for MDaemon / Client Settings.

Once you enable this option you will have to force the ActiveSync client to update the folder list.  The easiest way to force the folder list to be updated is usually to delete and recreate the account on the device.

Subject: [md-configuration] ActiveSync & Public Calendars in multiple domains

Here is my situation:

I have two domains, mydomain.com and my-domain.com

I have a shared public calendar for mydomain.com. My users at my-domain.com have access to it and can see if fine in WC, OC and CalDAV.

Users in mydomain.com can see the calendar in AS without issue - but the my-domain.com users CAN'T see it in AS...

Confirmed: It was permissions.

Had to uninherit and replace permissions on the mdaemon folder...

User can relay despite authentication fails - 07:06am Sep 12, 2017 CDT -

You should either require all local accounts to authenticate when sending mail, or configure IP shielding for your local IP addresses and exempt authenticated sessions from the IP shielding requirements.

The easiest approach is to always require authentication. This can be done by checking the box for Authentication is always required when mail is sent from local accounts on the SMTP Authentication dialog.

No, only my local IP subnet 194.251.x.x/26 is in Trusted IPs.

Trusted Domains is empty...

User can relay despite authentication fails - 04:00pm Sep 11, 2017 CDT -

Is the sending IP, 156.67.106.83, trusted? You can check this by going to Security / Security Settings / Trusted IPs

Do you have your own domain or host names listed as trusted hosts?  Do you have any trusted hosts configured if you do what are they?  You can check this by going to Security / Security Settings / Trusted Hosts

Do you require SMTP authentication when messages are from local users? If you do, do you have any IP addresses whitelist from this requirement?..
