Hello guys, I think this is a little difficult for me to explain, but I will try.

I have a virtual domain (lets say mydomain.cl)
with multipop setup for every user, it collects yahoo emails
from every account with no problem and deliver them to every user@mydomain.cl,

The problem comes when a user tries to send emails. I am not sure where to tell mdaemon
to connect to yahoo to deliver the email, note that I have a separate yahoo account for every user.

I dont want the users sending emails directly to internet because I want to control the size of the emails, both incoming and going.

thanks in advanced.

In your first screen shot, the "allow per-account authentication" field is grayed out.

Place a check next to "...requires authentication" and enter a user name and password in the unlocked fields.

If all of your users have their own smart host user name and password defined, this password will never be used because the smart host passwords in the user accounts take precedence over it.

Now It works!!
Thanks a lot, the thing is that is very confusing at the configuration level because I didnot know it and it doesnot specify this:

"If all of your users have their own smart host user name and password defined, this password will never be used because the smart host passwords in the user accounts take precedence over it."

thanks again.
