OC 2.2.9 has been released with the following fixes:

o [4125] OC can't handle non-English/accented/8-bit characters in data path
o [5695] fix attachments lost when particular message is forwarded
o [6060] fix attachments that were added before clicking "Save" and saved in the
Draft folder are lost when sent and message signature contains inline images
o [7304] Reduce the size of the Account dialog box
o [7378] fix duplicate calendar attachments appearing in shared calendar folder
o [7529] fix duplicate attachments occurs when composing using rich text and inline signature
o [7553] fix OC has problems decoding certain characters in a specific message
o [7625] iCalendar invite with non-ASCII character is not generated correctly
o [7858] fix to after running a purge, messages that were composed as RTF have
their attachments stripped
o [8026] fix MDConnector32X.dll displays incorrect version number
o [8040] fix Chinese Characters isn't shown correctly on FROM field
o [8041] fix Chinese Characters isn't shown correctly on the name of attached file
o [8069] fix OC is not correctly reading the Outgoing Server(SMTP) type of encrypted
connection setting for non-OC account
o [8248] fix Outlook crashes when trying to send message with attachment with long unicode name
o [8273] fix compacting database does not work on shutdown and manual operation with
specific configuration
o [8298] fix attached embedded message lost when HTML message with embedded message is forwarded
